Actor / Director Kevin Smith has always been fascinated by comic books and superheroes. While this can clearly been seen in the early films as well as his latest projects; Smith states that now that he has directed an episode of "The Flash" he wants to write for its sister show "Arrow."

Smith states that while he would not want to write for the "Flash" he would write for "Arrow" for one reason and that would be to bring the character Onomatopoeia to life, Comic book reports. The director claims that it would be so great for him to bring the character to life even for a one or two episode arc.

For those who are not familiar with the villain of Onomatopoeia, he is character that Smith created during his run on the "Green Arrow" comic book back in 2001, Newsrama reports. The character is a villain who only attacks non-super powered heroes, such as Green Arrow or Batman.

The quirk about Onomatopoeia is that he only speaks in noises or sound effects that you would find in the panels of the comics themselves. Normally the character would be caught imitating a BANG, or perhaps a BOOM.

The character proved to be quite popular, but has yet to make an appearance on "Arrow."

The episode of "The Flash" which Smith directed is entitled "The Runaway Dinosaur" and has several pivotal scenes that are very moving. Smith states that because there is a scene in the episode with Barry's mother the episode becomes very iconic, Variety states.

Smith says that there are very little scenes in the show or in the comics with Nora Allen in them.  Her role in the Flash's life is as important as Bruce Wayne's parents are in Batman's life.

Currently "The Flash" is on its second season while "Arrow" is currently on its fourth, both shows air on the CW network.
