Jodi Arias' latest update reveals that the convicted killer is getting a sentence of natural life in prison with no chance of parole. Now that the sentence has been given, the 2008 murder case that made headlines for its salacious details is finally closed.

On Monday, Jodi Arias final trial ended after seven years. The accused, who is now convicted of murder, reportedly killed her ex-boyfriend.

Prosecutors said Arias apparently killed her on-again, off-again boyfriend after the latter wanted to end their relationship.

During the final moments of Aria's legal battle, the family of her victims unleashed the pain over their family members' deaths. Three of the victims' sisters urged Judge Sherry Stephens to give the "unrepentant" and "evil" murderer the harshest penalty available, reports Yahoo! News.

Samantha Alexander, sister of the late Travis Alexander, even recalled how it was finding her brother's remains decomposing in the shower. "He was there for five days," she said. "Five days he is there decomposing in the shower. I'm sure his soul was screaming for someone to find him."

In 2013, a Jodi Arias' update revealed that she was convicted of murdering her lover.

After the sentencing, the victim's other sister, Tanisha Sorenson, shouted, "Burn in hell" at Arias, who appeared to be unmoved by the emotions of her victim's sisters, USA Today has learned.

However, during her final plea, Arias admitted that she's sorry for the pain she had caused her lover's family.

"I wish there was something I could do to take it back," she said.

The decision of Judge Stephens comes amid months of contemplating on whether or not the 35-year-old should be eligible for release after serving 25 years in prison, according to WGNTV.
