Los Angeles Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin couldn't hide his frustrations after another setback at the hands of the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. Indeed, Lin summed up the Lakers' miserable start in just few

Lin, who played perhaps his worst game in purple and gold uniform after recording 0 points on 0-for-2 shooting in 22 minutes of playing time, was asked by the press how he felt after seeing the Warriors dismantle them by 21 points, 136-115, for the second time this season.

Indeed, Lin summed up the Lakers' miserable start in just few words, blaming some of their misfortunes to Kobe Bryant not trusting the team.

"We're terrible at defense, Kobe doesn't trust us, and our offensive strategy is inefficiency personified," according to Los Angeles Lakers beat writer Shahan Ahmed via his Vine post.

After finishing with 9 points against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, Bryant recorded a season-high 44 points on 15-for-34 shooting from the field against the Warriors.

When asked why he decided to take matter in his own hands, the 36-year old star believed it's his job to keep firing when his team was struggling to get points. Although he never wanted to take some ill-advised shots, Bryant said he couldn't watch crime committed before his eyes.

"I'd rather get guys involved early. That's always the intent," Bryant said in an interview via the Associated Press. "But when you go down 10-12 points in the hole, man, I've got to try to keep us in the ballgame at some point. The responsibility is on me. I mean, when things go good, it's us. When things go bad, it's me."

Bryant is averaging 27.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season. He's just 27 points away to reach the 32,000 career points milestone and a couple of hundreds before he surpasses Michael Jordan for no.3 in the all-time scoring list.

On the other hand, things are expected to get tougher for the 1-9 Lakers as they play Eastern Conference elite Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, both on the road.
