The Tennessean reports that in the Westboro Baptist Church selfie by Brad Paisley, the 41-year-old country music star is spotted together with a group of Westboro Baptist Church protestors striking on a roadside in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

The church protesters reportedly carried signs with the words "God hates drunks" and "Sin breeds violence." They had apparently come out to the streets in order to express their disagreement on a concert that Paisley will be performing on that same night in an amphitheatre near the demonstration.

Many fans have also already posted messages of support for Paisley. Some even took to ridiculing the extremist group. Meanwhile, the church's reaction is as unsure as their thoughts on the Westboro Baptist Church selfie. They just weren't certain whether Paisley was mocking them.

The Westboro Baptist Church has reportedly already protested other country stars, which include Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift. Last year, Vince Gill, also a country music artist, has come head to head with the Kansas-based group and couldn't stop himslef from confronting a group of Westboro protestors. The protesters reportedly objected to a concert he was about to play in Kansas City, Mo. during that time.

Gill was captured on video telling a Westboro supporter, "[Jesus said] a lot of stuff about forgiveness, about grace. You guys don't have any of that."
