Joyriding Chihuahua Crashes Car: Has Licence Revoked

Jan 10, 2014 03:05 PM EST

A joyriding Chihuahua has been causing chaos in Spokane, Washington, hitting a car at a red-light intersection.

Tabitha Ormachea, who was heading home after a long day of work, got the fright of her life when she reached down to get her chapstick and an errant car hit the side of hers at a red light intersection.  She thought it was a runaway car whose brakes had failed until the tiny offender appeared from behind the steering wheel. "I was shocked" she said, "I didn't know if I was crazy, or if this little dog had taken a joy ride."

Thankfully there were no injuries to either Tabitha or the tiny terror, and both cars sustained only minimal damage.  Toby the Chihuahua's mortified owner, Jason Martinez was shopping for a few minutes in the store, when someone asked if he owned the gold car that was slowly rolling out of the parking lot.

Martinez said Toby must have knocked it out of gear, as he had left the Chihuahua in the car while he went into the store to grab a few things.  Mr. Martinez had aknowledged that Toby is a terrible driver and that his licence has now been revoked.
