Other's even claimed that the Skywalker saga will continue beyond the current trilogy.

According to Star Wars, Lucasfilm announced last April 25 that "Star Wars Episode IX" will be released on May 24, 2019. The film will be helmed by Colin Trevorrow however, there is no further announcement regarding the title of the final movie. The fifth installment of "Indiana Jones" series was also announced by Lucasfilm that will see the return of Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford.

In other reports, Comic Book reported that Harry Styles of One Direction may have been eyed by Disney to portray the young Han Solo for the upcoming standalone film that will feature the early days of our beloved smuggler. When the singer was questioned by Graham Norton regarding the rumors that Disney approached him first before Alden Ehrenreich, Style didn't provide a yes-no answer but managed to slip a smile on his face. Rumors mentioned that Disney have already spoken with Styles with the offer but the singer's busy schedule became a hindrance for him to take the role.

The Han Solo standalone film is slated to hit the theaters on May 25, 2018 and will be helmed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Alden Ehrenreich will star as the young Han Solo and Joonas Suotamo will portray Chewbacca during the time when the duo was still living as notorious smugglers.
