See The Fireworks Display From The Eyes Of A Drone
The New Year has always been welcomed with the use of fireworks. In the past, noise and fire were believed to ward off evil spirits and bring in good luck. This tradition was taken from the Chinese who invented fireworks and gunpowder. Since then, the world celebrated New Year with spectacular explosions in the sky.
Fireworks are usually viewed from afar because they are noisy and dangerous. These beautiful explosions in the sky are also enjoyed from the ground. However, Drone Hub decided to take a closer and bird's eye view of the colorful display with the use of a drone. The remote-controlled camera was able to capture the celebration sparkles all over the city.
But if one really wants to stay safe, then why not look at fireworks display from Youtube? That way, you can enjoy to look at the fireworks at the comfort of your home without having to worry about injuring yourself.
The drone used was a DJI Phantom 2, and the film was captured using a GoPro Hero 3 silver. As of this writing, the video has about 13 million views and was uploaded on May 13, 2014 on the Drone Hub channel. The said video was featured in the official Youtube channel of GoPro a month later.
For those who are curious, the title of the song that created the mood as the video's background music is 'Con Ti Partiro' by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Thankfully, all fireworks missed and the drone was not damaged.
