Thai Aviation Safety Rating Lowered
Thailand Aviation Safety has been lowered by the Federal Aviation Administration from Category 1 to Category 2. The new Category 2 rating means that its civil aviation authority is deficient in one or more critical areas. This could hamper Thai airlines' services to the United States. Ratings from other aviation safety organizations are expected to follow suit.
