Carrie Fisher Star Wars 7 role is again set to be Princess Leia. However, reports say that this time, the actress will be sporting an entirely different look.

According to IBTimes, Debbie Reynolds, Fisher's mother and screen legend has revealed that her daughter has lost a massive amount of weight for the reprised Star Wars role.

In an interview with Extra, Reynolds said on Carrie Fisher Star Wars 7 role, "She's very excited about it... she's been on a diet ever since, because you know they have to be up to par, so she looks terrific, she's lost 40 pounds."

The weight loss revelation gives fans an idea how Carrie Fisher Star Wars 7 look will go. IBTimes reports that other actors who will be resuming their roles in the upcoming sci-fi film include Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford. Hamill is set to play Luke Skywalker, while Ford will return as Han Solo.

Carrie Fisher Star Wars 7 role has gotten the 57-year-old excited. However, the energy may not be the same for Ford. The actor reportedly said before that there is not much left for his character.

Ford told Entertainment Weekly, "The breadth of his story utility was never extensive. He was the foil between the other more compelling elements of the film, between the sage old warrior and the young hero. There's not much breadth of character to explore what we got out of him."

While Carrie Fisher Star Wars 7 role has resulted in the actress losing weight, Ford isn't that enthusiastic. He added in the interview that his character "..has a good heart, but I think he's certainly a much less interesting character than Indiana Jones."
