CMA winners 2014 announced during the 49th Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 6.

Hosted by music performers, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, the event was jam-packed held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shelton is the platinum-selling hit maker while Bryan is the reigning entertainer of the year. The hosts were also nominated to become one of CMA winners 2014.

Country music is in the air as the organization, Academy of Country Music continues to promote and preserve country music by celebrating and recognizing music achievers each year. The three-hour show that took place in the MGM Grand hotel was televised live on CBS thus informing avid country music fans know who CMA winners 2014 are.

CMA winners 2014 included the not so unexpected victory of the veteran country singer, George Strait. Strait won his second title as the Entertainer of the Year after 25 years from his first win. Veteran singer Strait is already said to be few months from retiring who actually won same recognition from the rival Country Music Association Awards just five months ago.

Entertainer of the Year George Strait beats other nominees for the said recognition which includes Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift.

"Wow. Thank you so much. You know what, I've always said I've had the best fans in the world and I heard this was a fan voted thing, so I rest my case. This is so amazing, it's been such an amazing past 30 years," CMA winner 2014, Entertainment of the Year, George Strait said.

Aside from Strait winning the top prize, other CMA winners 2014 also includes Miranda Lambert who won the title, Female Vocalist of the Year and winning Single Record of the Year for her album, "Mama's Broken Heart".

Lee Brice's "I Drive Your Truck" won Song of the Year while The Band Perry won Vocal Group of the Year. Taking home the Male Vocalist of the Year is Jason Aldean beating Brice, Bryan, Shelton and Urban.

Hosts Shelton and Bryan announced that the 50th ACM Awards will be at the Dallas Cowboy's stadium in Arlington, Texas next year.
