Malaysia plane found in Bermuda Triangle hoax has become viral as tweets coming from a fake CNN profile claimed that the said aircraft was finally found.

As the news of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing broke off, many investigators coming from different parts of the world have participated for the search and rescue mission of the said plane. However, on March 24, Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak has made an official statement saying that the MH370 flight has crashed in the Southern Indian Ocean with 239 passengers. Along with the mystery of the missing plane came the scams claiming that the Malaysia plane found in Bermuda Triangle.

The Malaysia Airline flight MH370 departed the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 8 and was heading to China carrying 239 passengers along with the crew members of the aircraft. MH370 mysteriously went missing as it lost contact with the air traffic control just almost an hour after it took off. Twitter and Facebook sites have posts and videos claiming that a Malaysia plane found in Bermuda Triangle. Some posts appeared to have an appealing headline with a common phrase of "has been found". Fake profiles of CNN are the source of such untruthful news. The fake profiles links to a promotional websites such as that of fake surveys. When the user reaches the website, user's information can become vulnerable endangering the security and privacy. This is known as the clickjacking scam.

Moreover, news of Malaysia plane found in Bermuda Triangle seems to be so real since the posts were retweeted for more than 2000 times. The fake accounts of CNN includes @ReaICNN, @OfficiallCNN, @OfficiaICNN, @OfficiaI_CNN and @OFFICIALCNN_, as listed by News.com.au.

A video in Facebook showing that Malaysia plane found in Bermuda Triangle also went viral. The last official statement made about the missing aircraft was made on March 24 saying that it crashed near the Indian Ocean however, debris found by satellites are not yet recovered.
