Will Smith is dead. At least that's what the Internet is saying. However the "Fresh Prince" actor didn't die. He's just the victim of yet another Internet death hoax again. Smith is fine.

Rumors started swirling this week that Smith died. Many "news" Twitter accounts posted about the death on March 9th. For instance, two different TMZ accounts said that "Will Smith Dead Aged 45, See more here https://pic.twtter.in/wil1smith."

The only problem is that the account are fake. One has the handle @_TMZNEWS_ while the other is @TMZNEWSS_. Both accounts admit to being fake, as their profile says "This account is a PARODY! The news on this account isn't real!" Another account with the handle  "BREAKING_NEWS_" said "Will Smith official died 12 minutes ago. Read more: https://bit.ly/1qezbFw" This account also says it is a parody. The tweets are fake. No real news source confirmed that Smith really died.

However some may have come across the report by Global Associated News which says "Actor Will Smith died while filming a movie in New Zealand early this morning - January 19, 2014. Preliminary reports from New Zealand Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set. Specific details are not yet available.

The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. (UTC/GMT +12)."

Even though the report seems like it could be real since Smith is an actor, it's not. Global Associated News creates fake news reports from a generator. A note at the bottom of the site reads, " FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes! this story was dynamically generated using a generic 'template' and is not factual. Any reference to specific individuals has been 100% fabricated by web site visitors who have created fake stories by entering a name into a blank 'non-specific' template for the purpose of entertainment."

Smith is fine. He's gearing up to produce a graphic novel. The Internet has tried to kill him off several times.

Despite the rumor being nothing more than a rumor, some fans who came across the report have taken to Twitter to question and mourn the death of the actor.
Some examples of tweets include:

"If Will Smith died I will honestly cry right now."

"Yea will smith seriously died!!
