A missing travel blogger who was last seen taking an hour walk in Texas may have planned her escape. Police say.  Leanne Hecht Bearden was last seen at her Texas in-laws house, where she told them she was "going for a walk and would be back in about an hour."

Leanne Bearden, 33, had just returned from a two year around-the-world trip with her husband, Josh.  After two weeks of searching, her family have acknowledged on her Facebook page that she may have been planning to abscond.  The search for Leanne peaked on January the 25th when more than 17 agencies across Texas joined forces for a huge manhunt, as well as the family hiring a private investigator, who has been checking Leanne's phone and computer records, as well as her emails.

"As a result of this investigation, there is evidence that Leanne may have voluntarily left the area, and we strongly understand this is a possibility."
Relatives did not notice at the time, but they now believe she took a small backpack with her, leaving her case behind.    Police are now saying they don't think Leanne was the victim of any foul play and admit the possibility that she may have planned this in advance.  Leanne Bearden is an experienced traveler who documented her adventures in a blog.

Leanne Bearden's relatives and husband left an emotional message on her Facebook  page on Sunday: "We love you so much and just want to know if you're ok.  We so hope you'll reach out to SOMEONE, ANYONE and let them know.  We don't need to know where you are if that's what you want, we would just really like to hear from you."

The mysteries are starting to add up in this baffling case, as no one has even had a positive sighting of Leanne Bearden in the past two weeks.
