2014 isn’t off to a great start for the young pop star, Justin Beiber. Following an alleged egg attack on a neighbour’s home, in an exclusive Calabasas, California, community, authorities executed a search on the stars property.

The damage incurred to the neighbour’s house is estimated at $20,000, which makes the alleged vandalism a felony. If convicted of this crime Beiber could be facing jail time, or at the very least a long probation and community service.

The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station that serves that affluent community, are already familiar with Beiber 19, who has had several complaints made against him by neighbours during the two years he has lived in his $6.4 million home. Neighbours complain of the teenager speeding down the residential streets, in high-powered vehicles, and being aggressive upon confrontation.

When authorities entered Mr Beibers home on Wednesday morning, they discovered more than just eggs. Lil Za a 20-year old rapper and houseguest of Justin Beiber's, was busted with suspected Ecstasy, and Xanax, which led to his arrest on a felony drug charge.

Los Angeles County Sherriff, Lt. David Thompson, said that although Beiber was co-operative during the raid, telling them who was in the house, he has not spoken to the investigator about the vandalism allegations. He said, his lawyer would need to be present for that to happen.

The security video system in Justin Beiber’s mansion is currently being scoured for clues on who threw the eggs from Beiber’s property on to the neighbour’s home next door. “It will either prove or disprove, or maybe neither” said Thompson.

Until detectives find evidence that Beiber did attack his neighbour with the eggs, he will be a free man.  Although, Thompson hopes that “maybe understanding the gravity of this will change some of the behaviour.”  Only time will tell.
