For one thing, it contains all the shocking revelations and the unexpected twists in the lives of our beloved witches. After last week's very intense and interesting show, we are most certain that the upcoming episode will be a sure-fire blast. Sadly, we all need to wait for the return of the series on January since the hit FX series is now on its winter break. But we got you a few hints and spoilers on what you can expect when American Horror Story Season 3 returns.

According to Comicbook, American Horror Story season 3 episode 10 is to officially air on January 8, 2014, so that means we can't expect to watch this all-new episode tonight. However, the site revealed that James Wong wrote the episode and it was Alfonso Gomez-Rejon who directed it. Moreover, FX has dropped a sneak peek to the things that are about to happen in the last four episodes of this season. (It's sad that we only have four left) On the other hand, we have searched high and low for some spoilers on the all-new episode. Hence, please note that the following paragraphs do contain some minor hints and spoilers on the upcoming episode. Read at your own risk.

After last week's American Horror Story season 3 episode 9 "Head", we're sure that everyone was caught off guard when Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) decided to behead Madame LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) as a means of revenge to Fiona's (Jessica Lange) move to kill Laveau's minotaur boyfriend. Then, there was Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) getting all dark when she killed a homeless man. Furthermore, we know understand that we just can't get rid of any of the characters that easily. As proof of that we have Spalding, who is now a ghost in the house of the witches. But with all these served on our plate, can we expect a solid ending for everyone? The answer is a big "YES!" according show executive producer Ryan Murphy. And he has spilled the beans recently on what else is in store for the "Coven" season.

In an interview for Entertainment Weekly on the returning American Horror Story season 3 episode 10 titled "The Magical Delights of Stevie Knicks," Murphy dished a thing or two about the all-new episode as well as some hints on the final four episode for this season. One of the questions asked to Murphy was whether Laveau's gesture to chop off LaLaurie's head off was all part of the plan from the beginning. "Well the interesting thing about that story was basically we've established that LaLaurie's punishment is that she can live forever so she's a character who can't be killed. So at a certain point, as she even says in the episode, she learned like, "F*** you. You can do whatever you want." So you're like What could Marie do to her that would be heinous? And then what could we follow with that to make it even more heinous? So when we came up with the idea that she would definitely cut off her head," he answered, adding, "we follow the travails of Kathy Bates' head and things happen to other characters' literal heads or intellects or brain power. She's such a villain yet Kathy's so empathetic so it's become this weird thing where I'm shocked that people are rooting for Madame LaLaurie."

Murphy also talked about the love triangle among Zoe, Madison, and Kyle, and according to him, the tension among the three characters will continue to rise now that Madison (Emma Roberts) is aware that Zoe might be the next Supreme. "I thought the audience would really enjoy that both girls would have the monster. But I was shocked at how many people want the Taissa/Evan duo from season one. But yes that continues on in a rather disastrous way that I think is very entertaining."

Meanwhile, it seems that in the upcoming episodes, we will see the teaming up of the voodoos and the Salems now that they have a common enemy: The Corporation. Murphy said that upon the return of the series in January, Marie and Fiona must join forces to beat this enemy. They have different ways and approaches about what they think they should do. Selfishly I just wanted to have a lot of scenes with Angela and Jessica together because they're so great together. So I was like, "We gotta get Marie Laveau to move in that house." And if you are wondering if Laveau will be moving in to the house of the witches, Murphy confirmed that she definitely is. Don't miss the all-new episode when AHS returns. On other news, although this is going to be a very tough announcement to make, sadly we are just four episodes away from the finale of this season. However, Murphy dished that we can expect more from the series. "Well we have a lot of special stuff," he quipped. "The last four are Can Marie and Fiona beat these witch hunters that have been after their groups for centuries. Who's going to be the next Supreme? Who's Kyle going to choose in terms of the witches? What's going to happen to LaLaurie and what's going to happen to the friendship between Queenie and LaLaurie? So those are the driving forces."

"We're just now writing the finale. I've never been sadder. At one point, as I told you, I had thought maybe we'll spin this show off but that's against the DNA of the show. You'd have to second guess who you're going to get rid of the show and the fun of the show is that anybody can die at any point. I'm really sad to see that group of characters go even though in January we start writing the new season. But I'm gonna miss them."
