Warning: the succeeding paragraphs contain minor spoilers on the upcoming HIMYM episode. Read at your own risk.

After her much talked about absence in the previous episodes, the mother or Ted's future wife (Cristin Milioti) is finally making an appearance tonight in a storyline all of us will surely never forget. And based on a sneak peek to How I Met Your Mother season 9 episode 11, the mother will be the titular "bass player" in the episode title "Bass Player Wanted." Not only that, she will offer Marshall (Jason Segel) a ride to the Farhampton Inn. Spoilers revealed that the mother will right away recognize that Marshall is apparently Lily's (Alyson Hannigan) husband. It can be noted that Lily and the mother met on the train earlier in the season and we did have fun watching them interact. This time it's going to be twice as fun with Marshall since one of the two is going to even pretend to be psychic. And it's going to be future Mrs. Mosby. Additionally, the mother will be joined by another guest star, "The New Normal" actor Andrew Rannells, who is going to play Darren. Based on the spoilers and teasers so far, Darren is going to be the devil of the episode since he is the "guy at the wedding who intentionally stirs up trouble among (the gang)." We are not really sure if this will lead to the big reveal of Ted Mosby's (Josh Radnor) Chicago plans, but yet the gang is going to find out about it tonight and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) is somehow not pleased to hear it. Don't miss this week's show. Tune in tonight on CBS at 8/7c or simply watch it online using the How I Met Your Mother season 9 episode 13 free live stream link below.

Meanwhile, it seems that Marshall is going to have a singing moment in HIMYM's mid-season finale. Craig Thomas even posted a pic on his Twitter account of Jason Segel rehearsing in the studio. He even captioned it with: "What classic #HIMYM song is Jason Segel in the studio to reprise? Tune in Monday night to find out" On other news, CBS' HIMYM spin-off "How I Met Your Father" is reportedly in the works. However, CBS has already confirmed earlier that none of the HIMYM cast will be joining the new series. The official episode synopsis for the upcoming How I Met Your Mother season 9 episode 13 reads: "The gang encounters a guy at the wedding who intentionally stirs up trouble among them, and Marshall finally arrives at the Farhampton Inn."
