Qatar Airways, considered as one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, is to launch its new service in Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) come July 1, 2014. The said launching is part of the said airways plan to extend its footprint in the U.S.

According to several sources, the new service destination is Qatar Airways' second route in Texas.

The airline is currently operating from Doha to Houston non-stop daily, Breaking Travel News reports.

Based on the latest statement issued by Qatar Airways, the planned launching of its new service is reinforcement to its commitment to the American market flying to Doha and vice versa.

"We are pleased to continue enhancing our presence in the United States and are committed to providing passengers with an exceptional travel experience with Qatar Airways, as they travel on their long-haul and short-haul journeys," the statement reads. "It is an exciting start to 2014 that we have announced three new American routes, and we look forward to welcoming our new and loyal passengers on board."

Furthermore, the airline also extended its gratitude to its patrons and loyal passengers. "We take this opportunity to thank the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for their support in enabling the commencement of Qatar Airways' new services. DFW is the world's fourth busiest airport, and we are pleased to begin operating services there."

The Dallas/Fort Worth route will be operated with Qatar Airways' flagship Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, which basically features a two-class design with 42 Business Class lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.

It can be noted that Skytrax World Airline Awards recognized Qatar Airways' Business Class Product as the "World's Best Business Class" in Paris this year.

The airline is currently flying to four destinations: New York, Washington DC, Chicago and Houston, and with the addition of new routes this 2014, its footprint is expected to double.

Aside from the Dallas/Fort Worth service which is to be launched on July 1, the airline has also revealed its plan to launch a Philadelphia service on April 2 and a Miami service on June 10.
