Going to be around New York for Super Bowl 2014? Why not stay in a Bud Light-themed hotel on a cruise ship.

Norwegian Cruise Line's newest cruise ship, the Norwegian Getaway will be transformed into a Bud Light hotel for Super Bowl XLVIII. Anheuser-Busch InBev will soon reveal the 4,028-passenger Norwegian Getaway that will be transformed into a massive "Bud Light Hotel" and entertainment venue for the big game, USA Today reports.

The large ship will be docked in New York City for the big game on February 2nd which will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The Bud Light Hotel will take over the ship and the adjacent Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum which will be next to it.

The hotel will be available to stay in from the Thursday before the game through Monday morning. To transform the ship, the beer company will plaster the Bud Light logo all over thousands of pillows, hand towers, shampoo bottles and other items. The company will also host concerts, business meetings and other gatherings in the event area of the ship. This space will include the cruise ship, the deck of the Intrepid military ship, the pier where they'll be docked and the surrounding area.

The 146,600-ton Norwegian Getaway is currently under construction at a shipyard in Germany. It is a sister ship to the new Norwegian Breakaway, which made its debut six months ago. The Getaway is supposed to make its debut in January.

Much like the Norwegian Breakaway, the new ship will feature a large fun zone on the top deck which includes five water slides, a restaurant-lined boardwalk, Broadway productions such as Legally Blonde and a giant spa that takes up two decks.

After the Super Bowl is done and over, the Norwegian Getaway will head to Miami where it will be based for the year for seven-night cruises to the Eastern Caribbean.
