Club 33, the extremely exclusive club at Disneyland, which reportedly costs $25,000 to join and has membership fees of $10,000 a year, is undergoing a major renovation, according to FOX News.

The famous restaurant in the theme park will get a new layout, which will include a makeover of the entrance, lounge and kitchen, as well as a whole new menu, according to Inside the Magic, the unofficial Disney blog.

The dining room renovation won't include an increase in the number of seats, though it will get new chairs and china.

The entrance, which is only marked by a small "33" address plate, will remain as it is, though it won't be used by guests. They usually push a buzzer hidden near the door to get in, though that will change during the renovation.

The club was opened in 1967, having been conceived as a hangout for Walt Disney and his corporate and A-list guests, though it didn't open until after Disney had already passed away. It still hosts rich and famous guests today, reportedly including Tom Hanks, Christina Aguilera and Elton John. There is believed to be an 800-person waiting list, according to USA Today.

Guests of the club have access to a private full bar, and is the only location within Disneyland to offer alcoholic beverages, though the company has a park-wide liquor license. Members also receive complimentary access to both Disney parks whenever they are open, plus early park admission several days a week.

Club 33 is located in the New Orleans section of the park, above the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The renovations will begin in January 2014 and will close the club for six months.

Disney is also reportedly planning to open up membership after the club renovations are complete, though it will likely still remain very exclusive. The company is also setting up a web site that will show real-time progress, but it's only open to members.
