The Sheraton New York Times Square is offering a deal to Botox users to celebrate the completion of the hotel's renovation, according to USA Today. The renovation cost $180 million.

The hotel is offering an "uplifting" perk this October and November as a celebratory promotional opportunity. Guests who have renovated their homes with a home improvement or their bodies with a cosmetic procedure, will receive a $50 "Makeover Celebration Credit" for their stay.

"We are celebrating our hotel's complete renovation and showing a gorgeous new face to Manhattan," Mark Sanders, the general manager of the hotel, told USA Today.

The scaffolding from the construction will be removed from the building in September.

The credit "is simply a token of appreciation for guests who have also recently gone through the makeover process."

Only in-office injectable dermal fillers, including Restylane and Botox, or surgical liposuction or facelifts will qualify for the promotion. As far as home renovation, carpet cleaning, pool cleaning or home cleaning won't qualify.

Massages, haircuts, manicures and pedicures, hair dyes and electrolysis won't qualify. Qualifying home repairs include new paint, new plumbing, new air conditioning systems, new landscaping and structural renovations to any room or structure will qualify.

However, home improvements must be done by a home improvement, landscaping or construction company, so DIY won't qualify.

"Linking a hotel's renovation or makeover to a customer's own home renovation or personal is a novel idea," Chekitan Dev, an associate professor at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and the author of "Hospitality Branding," said. "If the Sheraton can get its customers to know it had been renovated, an important driver of hotel choice, then they have a win."

The Sheraton expanded the size of its 1,780 guest rooms, grand suites and the Sheraton Club Lounge. The renovation is intended to "provide travelers a relaxing oasis in the heart of New York's mid-town Manhattan," according to the hotel web site.
