Chumlee from "Pawn Stars" is dead. At least that's  the Internet is saying. However the reality star didn't die. He's just the victim of an Internet death hoax. Chumlee, aka Austin Russell is just fine.

A report was posted to the Internet Chronicle in May saying that Chumlee had passed away of an apparent marijuana overdose.

"In what may come to be a medical landmark, "Chumlee" Russell of Pawn Stars fame died from a marijuana overdose Monday night and was found by friend "Big Hoss" Harrison on Tuesday morning. Earlier this year, "Chumlee" was arrested with seven pounds of marijuana which he asserted were all for personal use," the report reads.

The only problem is that it is impossible to overdose on marijuana. The Internet Chronicle also posts fake reports. The site also has stories about Selena Gomez dying, Lady Gaga being diagnosed with brain cancer, Akon dying and more. None of those stories are true either.

Somehow the report made its way around the Internet and people have been commenting on the rumored death. Several people commented on the original report. Some comments include:

"Me and my family loves watching pawn stars, and were so sorry to hear about chumlee, our prayers go out to his family and friends. The bacorns," Sophia Bacorns said.

"You were a funny and loving guy on the show, you will truly be missed..rest in peace Chumlee," said Jen.

"OMG...THAT'S SO SAD!!! HE WAS GREAT!!! I WAS JUST WATCHING THE SHOW LAST NIGHT!!! HE WILL BE VERY MISSED!!! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE DYING FROM AN OVERDOSE OF POT!!!
MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS ARE WITH HIS FAMILY & FRIENDS & THE SHOW!!!" Robin Hewlett said.

Chumlee got word of the rumor himself and took to Twitter to play along. "RIP Austin "chumlee" Russell was a great man he will be missed," he said on Wednesday. Soon after he posted a video and then wrote "I am Alive and kicking some times you can't believe the hype."
