"A great family friendly restaurant isn't all about grilled cheese sandwiches," said Patrick O'Donnell , co-founder of Urbanspoon in a media release. "As a family of foodies, my kids are adventurous eaters. Family friendly restaurants need to offer a nice atmosphere and a diverse menu, which will make everyone happy. Urbanspoon helps make that decision on where to take your whole family simple."
Urbanspoon determined the top restaurants based on those that received the most positive reviews from food critics, bloggers, Urbanspoon users, and diners. The most restaurants are found in Florida with 12 top choices. The most popular food choices are restaurants that serve pizza and those that serve BBQ. Many of the restaurants are those that allow families to share large plates like Italian restaurants, pizza places, BBQ places and Mexican/Latin restaurants.
Here are Urbanspoon's Most Popular Family-Friendly Restaurants.
