The lessons are free and last for one hour. Guests often become engrossed in the lessons and stay longer, however. Hotel guests have become used to the availability of these lessons at the hotel and they have become a tradition for many repeat guests.

They are also a great way to get a language immersion experience without the time commitment of a traditional cultural exchange program, which can require time commitments that aren't feasible for many people who are busy with families and jobs.

June 6 is International Russian Language Day. The date was chosen to commemorate Russian writer Alexander Pushkin, who was born on that date. To celebrate, the Renaissance Moscow Olympic Hotel will host a special lesson with a traditional Russian Samovar tea ceremony, which will be complemented by customary sweets.

For guests that are sitting through business meetings in the hotel, the celebration will provide a welcome break.

Renaissance Hotels represents a diverse collection of more than 150 hotels in 35 countries. Each property is unique and offers travelers a one-of-a-kind experience, such as the language and cultural immersion opportunity, which will provide unique memories for guests.

A benefit of participating in cultural immersion is the involvement of the local people. Each hotel has an array of amenities including innovative and locally driven programs.
