Many of the past contestants have since started their own careers in the food industry. A number have become restaurateurs, allowing fans to finally get a taste of their food. 

For those interested to try their food, here are the restaurants of the past contestants of "MasterChef Australia." 

Cakeboi (Reece Hignell)

Gotta eat cake? Well, if you ever find yourself in New South Wales, make sure you drop by Reece Hignell's Cakeboi. Among the whole cakes its offers are the Devil's Food Cake, Vintage Iced Cake, and Red Velvet Cake. Certain cakes can be bought per slice. 

Cakeboi also offers takeaway coffee and tea, as well as house baked focaccia.

The George on Collins (Khanh Ong)

Melbourne's The George on Collins counts Seasons 10 and 12's Khanh Ong as one of the partners. True to Ong's Vietnamese heritage the menu features many Southeast Asian influences. 

This means you can expect to find dumplings, bao, pad thai, and fried rice on the menu taken to a whole new level. There's also spring rolls and more than one kind of curry.

KOI Dessert Bar (Reynold Poernomo) 

The undisputed "Dessert King" of "MasterChef Australia," Reynold Poernomo, has delighted viewers for two seasons of the show as well as the first season of "Dessert Masters" with his picture-perfect desserts. Now, fans who want to try his beautiful creations can do so at KOI Dessert Bar. 

A business he started with his brothers, Reynold Poernomo offer luxurious desserts at KOI. It is also home to KOI Experiential, a chef's table dining experience. 

KOI Dessert Bar is located at 6 Central Park Ave, Chippendale, NSW and Shop 3, 62 - 66 Blaxland Rd, Ryde, NSW

NIDO (Laura Sharrad)

During her time at "MasterChef Australia," Laura Sharrad's name has become synonymous with pasta. It is no surprise then that she and her husband are now the team behind pasta bar NIDO. 

The pasta offered at NIDO include the Hand Rolled Taleggio and Potato Agnolotti, as well as the Hand Cut Pappardelle Verde. The menu also features antipasti and vegetarian options.

Sum Yung Guys (Matt Sinclair) 

Season 8 runner-up Matt Sinclair explores Asian food with Sum Yung Guys. The restaurant made headlines when it received 4,000 bookings on its opening day in its new location. 

Expect a lot of Southeast Asian classics on the menu. If you are a fan of curries in particular, there is lots to love about the menu of Sum Yung Guys.
