Adrenaline junkies all crave for one thing: out of this world adventure. Whether it's bungee jumping on the highest peak on Earth or swimming with piranhas and sharks in the open waters, there's almost virtually nothing adrenaline junkies would say no to.

If you're an adrenaline junkie yourself, then you've probably heard of Caminito Del Rey, the world's most dangerous walkway. Located in the province of Málaga, Spain, Caminito Del Rey earned its reputation for being deadly as it claimed a number of lives in 1999, 2000, and recently in 2013.

Caminito Del Rey was first built in 1901 to provide a walkway for workers at the hydroelectric power plants at Chorro Falls and Gaitanejo Falls, according to The Independent. After it fell into disrepair, adventure seekers started to use the walkway for recreation, mostly because of its extremely narrow paths and excellent view of the gorge below.

By the 1990s though, several areas in the walkway started crumbling, leading to the falling off of handrails and increased danger of stepping on the dilapidating concrete. The government then completely closed the walkway in 2000 until was extensively renovated and re-opened in 2015.

Now, Caminito Del Rey became one of the most sought after activities in Malaga. It's not for the faintest of hearts though- the path is still dangerous. One small misstep can lead your body falling into a deep ravine, straightly plunging you into your death.

Still, the walk is worth it because of the spectacular views waiting for you at the boardwalks. Crossing the hanging bridge is also an adventure in itself, and while crossing the pathway, you can encounter a variety of local wildlife just going on their day.

The steep steps in the pathway might make you dizzy on the first try. It's risky, but if you want to step out of your comfort zone and participate in this heart-pumping activity, then book yourselves a trip to Malaga this year. Check out their website for complete details.
