The American teen drama mystery thriller TV series "Pretty Little Liars" has clearly come a long way. It has been around since 2010, and so fans may think that we know the characters well enough. The rest of the Season 7 episodes may show that we have thought wrong.

According to J-14, Lucy Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery, hinted that the final episodes will show her characters much darker side. The actress said that Aria does some "crazy stuff" which puts everything at stake, including her friendships and relationships. "There are times when you're like, 'Whose side is she on?'" she added.

Hale added that for the last nine episodes, the board games will be a crucial part. The actress added that all the girls want to get a turn at it, and it puts them in "life-or-death situations." This will put Aria against the girls. "For the first time it's little Aria against the rest of them, so things get weird," Hale hinted.

According to Digital Spy, Season 7, which also happens to be the final season, will reveal A's true identity. Series creator Marlene King said that they knew, ever since the beginning, that the original A would be Mona, but added that they had to do it in a way that still surprises the fans of the book. "I knew who our show's A would be at the end - who we haven't revealed yet - but I didn't know we'd have Little A in between that," King said.

King also hinted that Uber A's reveal will be a "sad" one, adding that she thinks "every villain has a real human story." King also said that "the best villains are relatable people." Now, about the show's end, King said that they are sad to say goodbye, but "it felt right" to end the show. "It's extremely bittersweet," she added. "Pretty Little Liars" airs every Tuesday at 8 pm.
