Google's Chrome team is now rolling out the update to its web browser, Chrome 58, for Android phones and PCs that uses Mac, Windows, and Linux OS. The new update is said to fix some bugs and provide features that are for developers.

According to a report from MobiPicker, Google's update web browser now has support for IndexedDB 2.0 standard, which is a feature that can make working with large datasets in the browser simpler. The Chrome 58 also has a new schema management, a more standardized technique in dealing with failures, and a bulk action method.

The new update also provided fixes to 29 security issues that external developers have discovered and allows developers to customize the standard media control button of the Chrome. Developers can now customize the buttons that are used for playback, full screen, and downloading.

The report said that the one thing that Chrome 58 lacks is support for the MacBook Pro's Touch Bar. This is something that a lot of people have been expecting for a while, but it seems like Google will take longer to provide the support.

Other than an update for desktop PCs, the Chrome 58 update is also made available to Android phones, according to Gizbot. The new web browser has made changes to Progressive Web Apps on Android, which allows people to go full screen with the Chrome without making the URL visible on the top.

This allows people to fully utilize the screen space of their smartphones and have a better experience when browsing. The Chrome 58 update also removed non-app UI and provided new power, as well as improvements, to the sandboxed iframes.

The new keyword for the iframe sandbox allows people to navigate the top-level-page without having to worry about auto-redirects. Check out the video below for more details on Google's latest web browser, the Chrome 58.
