An obese woman who once appeared on "My 600lb Life" unveiled her incredible transformation after losing a lot of weight. Brittani Fulfer, 32, is finally down to 272lbs body weight two years after she started her weight loss journey in the show.
She weighs 605lbs before and now lost almost half of her body weight after shedding 330lbs and losing skin of 27lbs after it was surgically removed from her stomach. She revealed that her eating habits started being out of control when she was abused sexually during her childhood, Daily Mail reported.
Brittani went on gastric bypass surgery with the help of Houston-based weight loss surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan and she has lost 230lbs in just a year. Skin fats were also taken off from her stomach and she shed more weight for about 103lbs.
She initially waited for several months before she got an approval for a skin removal surgery. She also started her diet and was able to lose more pounds right after. Brittani also went on a knee surgery to repair her knee which allows her to perform more exercise to get fit.
Originally, this once-obese woman struggled a lot with her obesity. She faced two painful surgeries for her to get her ideal body. According to Brittani, she couldn't remember a time when she does not wake up from pain which even led her to depression, Heavy reported.
She can still remember when she was forced to sit on a chair to shower, which according to her, it was one of the most exhausting parts of her day. She revealed that she once made a wish of dying at times than dealing with her weight. Nonetheless, her weight loss journey paid off. At the end of two painful years, she finally weighs 272lbs and incredibly, she now has her ideal weight.
