"Tokyo Ghoul" just dropped its most recent live-action trailer. The highly anticipated manga movie of the year will be available on July 29, 2017.

"Tokyo Ghoul" was first launched as a manga in 2011. It was adapted into an anime and it became popular among the manga and anime fans. Six years after its debut, the fan-favorite manga will finally have a live-action movie.

A 30-second teaser for the live-action adaptation was already released and the video does not reveal too much about the upcoming movie. However, towards the end of the teaser, Ken Kaneki appeared a hybrid ghoul who is famous for his legendary powers. This final part of the said video is enough to get the fans even more thrilled, reported Kotaku.

"Tokyo Ghoul" story evolves in a group of flesh-eating individuals living along with the ordinary people in Japan. Ken Kaneki plays the role of the protagonist in the story. He is a high school student who was attacked by a ghoul. Now, he must learn how to continue living as half-human and half-hybrid being. It is common for an anime series to have a theme about individual crisis and on how to keep a secret identity while living in a normal world. "Tokyo Ghoul" focuses to Kaneki and his angst in dealing with his identity.

There have been live-action movies that first came from the manga and had an anime franchise. Even the gaming world incorporated some manga through games and consoles, says Polygon.

The upcoming release of the "Tokyo Ghoul" season three have been delayed and fans are getting more anxious about it. There is no confirmed date on when it will be finally released.

For now, the "Tokyo Ghoul" live action movie will only be released in Japan, as mentioned earlier. Currently, information about bringing this to North America is still not confirmed.
