After the stock shortage of Nintendo "NES Classic Edition," it is now available on Amazon through a third party. This video game console is one of the most elusive consoles to find with the massive demand since it was re-released.

The regular price of "NES Classic Edition" is $60 but at this moment, it is listed on Amazon for $171.95. WorldWide Distributors is retailing this console and fulfilled by Amazon. However, game enthusiasts might spend an extra penny to own one.

Nintendo Entertainment System was first produced in the 1980's and the "NES Classic Edition" is its upgraded version. This was made popular along with the classic games like "Super Mario Bro.," "Donkey Kong," and "The Legend Of Zelda." The current device is now plugged into the television through an HDMI cable and the controller together with it is tethered to the console, says Fortune.

Last year when the "NES Classic Edition" first rolled out in the market, it became a hit immediately, especially during holiday season. In addition, new units sold online or by bricks-and-mortar stores were bought in just minutes. This situation is just the same this year.

Nintendo is promising the fans of the video game console that they are doing their best to manufacture the device quickly as possible, in order to satisfy the increasing demand. The problem in the supply and demand of the "NES Classic Edition" gives an opportunity to the small third party retailers to put a higher price. Beyond this, major retailers are still selling the device at $60.

BGR reminded customers that upon choosing the other sellers link located in the right-hand column to check on stores who have available stocks, to purchase only from sellers with lots of positive ratings. There are reports recently claiming that fake sellers scammed some "NES Classic Edition" buyers.
