We still have five more months at least, before "Outlander" Season 3 airs, and we already know that it's going to show the reunion between Claire and Jamie. Cast and crew area still in South Africa for filming, and the reason of it all, author Diana Gabaldon, just joined the team in the location.

The Tribune Voice reported that Gabaldon flew to South Africa to help with the filming - simply because "Outlander" Season 3 is based on her third book "Voyager." The book tells about how Claire finds Jamie using the name of Alex Malcolm, who now smuggles liquor in a facility disguised as a printer's shop. Claire will now be married to Frank, and she is doing a great job as a surgeon. The reunion is the most awaited moment of Season 3.

Cast and crew will stay in South Africa for about two more months, and Caitriona Balfe and co-star Sam Heughan are enjoying their stay. Cartermatt reported that the pair attended a local rugby match, and Heughan even shared a picture of them during the match.

During a previous interview, Balfe teased that the reunion is "really beautiful and it's been filmed really beautifully." They are going to be reunited after 20 years, and what's exciting to see is how they have lived their lives while they were apart.

Balfe also teased that Claire and Jaime's reunion is going to turn Jamie's world upside down. She also added that their meeting is kind of a surprise for Jamie, and within the day of her returning, "all hell breaks loose."

In the upcoming season, Jamie looks like an older man, which is expected, considering the number of years and he and Claire spent apart. Besides the recurring cast, "Outlander" Season 3 will feature new faces like Dunsany sisters, Mary McNab and Mr. Willoughby.
