The "It" movie trailer broke records this week for getting the most online views in just a single day. The movie even raced over "The Fate of the Furious" after it sets the record as the most watched trailer online after its release.

As per record, "It" was able to generate over 197 million views globally in just 24 hours after it was posted online.I t also topped the previous record of 139 million by "The Fate of the Furious" of Universal last December. And apparently, their online views even grew higher at 246 million after 36 hours, Variety reported.

Furthermore, the "It" trailer also made a buzz over Twitter and was trending in the said social media platform. The film is directed by Andres Muschietti and this centers on the story of seven children who are being terrorized by an evil clown known as Pennywise. Said clown will be seen taking advantage of the fears of its victims and he will disguise himself in order to track down the prey.

The film will open in theaters on September 8 and it will include the following casts: Bill Skarsgard as the clown Pennywise, Finn Wolfhard of "Stranger Things" as Richie Tozier and Jaeden Lieberher as Bill Denbrough.

Further, as per NME, it was also announced by Warner Bros that the film trailer also made about 1.8 million shares on Facebook and that is in the US alone. The film script was co-written by the "True Detective and Beasts of No Nation" film maker Cary Fukunaga.

Moreover, one of the film producers is Seth Grahame-Smith and it was also revealed in the recent news that Stephen King had given his approval for this remake. Since this is from the famous author, it is expected to be creepy and exciting at the same time. The rated R film adaptation is set for release this year and its first photo of Skarsgard's character was also released last summer.
