Goku and the gang are racing against time to complete the ten-man-team that will participate in the Tournament of Power organized by Zenos. In the previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super," Whis advised Goku and the other to focus on the warrior on Earth as they have limited information regarding fighters from other planets. Though Goku and Gohan have already nine prospects on their minds, they will have to formally invite them to assure their participation.

Their first stop is the husband and wife fighters, Krillin and Android 18 as reported by Blasting News. At first, Gohan was really worried for Krillin as Hercule mentioned that the bald fighter retired from being a martial artist long ago. They even made an image training to determine Krillin's chances in the tournament. Though the training resulted in Krillin's defeat, Goku included him claiming that he started training ahead and he has new tricks up his sleeves.

According to Comic Book, the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 84 will feature Goku and Gohan visiting Krillin in one of his secret training session. Gohan is still worried if the human can hold his own against universe's top fighters, sparred with Krillin to see for himself and test his skills. The preview for Episode 84 also showed Goku fighting Krillin at full power and turning in Super Saiyan blue.

As we all know, Krillin is one of the lesser characters in the Dragon Ball universe and he is shown to die multiple times in the show. However, even though he's far from your average Saiyan, he is one of the strongest pure human fighter and he has a lot of tricky moves in his arsenal. He also recently powered up when he entered the Forest of Terror together with Goku.

In "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 84, Krillin will definitely be included in the team Universe 7 however, his wife ,on the other hand, needs some more convincing. The android didn't give any reason as to why she is refusing to participate but Goku changed her mind when he lied that the tournament will offer a 10 million monetary award for the winning fighter. Android 18 have been chasing tournament prize money in the past and no one can blame her as she has a family to feed.
