Reportedly "Pokemon Stars" will be released on Nintendo Switch by next quarter. However, a recent report claims that it was postponed for release to 2017's holiday.

Several reports recently claim that the highly anticipated "Pokemon Stars" will be released to Nintendo Switch. However, the games included in the hybrid console continue to expand at present without even a hint or a mention of a possible Pokemon title.

Obviously, a Pokemon game is missing in the lists of Nintendo Switch's games both in the released and upcoming categories. The game right now remains just a speculation until Nintendo or Pokemon confirm any details about it.

According to recent speculations, "Pokemon Stars" will be an exciting version of the popular game "Pokemon Sun and Moon" for 3DS. In addition, the game will be reimagined for the Nintendo's hybrid console. Reports about a project codenamed "Pokemon Stars" was brought to light by several gaming outfits including Eurogamer.

Another leak, originated from Game Freak further fueled speculations about the highly anticipated game. According to the leak, the game was initially scheduled for a summer of 2017 release window. However, it is said that it was further pushed to a later release date within the year.

It can be recalled that MCV also reported about Nintendo working on a Pokemon and Mario game along with "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The report claimed that the games will be launched in the hybrid console six months post launch. Currently, the game "Super Mario Odyssey" has a temporary release window of December 29 at Amazon pre-order listing. If the speculations are proven accurate, then the "Pokemon Stars" would probably be available at the same time the Mario game releases.

Several gaming analysts suggested that a possible holiday release for the Pokemon game is solid. It can be included as a potential Nintendo Switch Christmas season offering to fans alongside the "Super Mario Odyssey" game. With the game's possible Nintendo Switch release, users can expect enhanced graphics given the 720p screen resolution. This is most likely playable on TV monitors for an amped 1080p experience.
