Nintendo isn't known to show off during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), not doing any sort of fancy presentation or making major announcements. But that will all change, as a Nintendo executive promises big things, like showcasing a variety of games during the E3 2017.

In an interview with Fox News' Fox Gamer, Nintendo of America and COO President Reggie Fils-Aime said that they will be having "a big E3" this year. They will have some surprises for everyone attending the expo, especially for those who will attend it for the first time.

"We look at each E3 as a unique opportunity to tell our story," Fils-Aime said. He adds that E3 has always been a "big time for Nintendo."

Fils-Aime said that "a variety of games" will be showcased during the E3 2017 and they will also have some sort of surprises for people attending E3 for the first time. He didn't mention specifically what kind of games will be showcased or what the surprise may be, Fils-Aime just said they'll have "experiences" for the new attendees.
He did say that the E3 2017 will be a "major opportunity" for Nintendo to feature the Nintendo Switch and some contents for its Nintendo 3DS console. GameRant mentions possible games that Nintendo could likely showcase when E3 2017 commences on June 13, 2017.

The games that are likely to be released in the summer of 2017 are "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" and "Splatoon 2." It's also possible for Nintendo to reveal more games that are in production, aside from those that are already known.

The report said that hopefully, after the E3 2017, Nintendo would slowly but surely grow the lineup of games that are available to the Nintendo Switch. For now, fans can only wait in anticipation what Nintendo has in store. Check out Fils-Aime's interview in the video below.
