Fans of "Dance Moms" know that Abby Lee Miller is a tough dance teacher, but that is one reason why fans watch the show. However, the show has become controversial because Miller has faced numerous legal issues since 2014. The famous choreographer could even be facing jail time soon, and rumor has it that Chloe Lukasiak will take over her place in "Dance Moms" Season 8.

Entertainment Tonight has reported that Miller could be headed to prison soon after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud last June. She said that she has made some mistakes, "but I've plead to all those," she added. Because of this unfortunate event, Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) may start looking for a new mentor.

According to Blasting News, Junior Elite Competition Team member, Chloe Lukasiak, returned to "Dance Moms" Season 7, but she and her mom Christi Lukasiak made it clear that they want to avoid Miller on the show.

The previous season had mediocre ratings, and so some fans believe that Lukasiak may just be the person the show needs to up the ratings. However, a lot agree that what made the show popular is Miller's way of teaching. Also, some think that Lukasiak may not be the perfect choice, considering that even Miller herself thinks that Lukasiak is not her best student.

Meanwhile, a recent interview revealed that Maddie Ziegler is not sad at all that she is no longer part of the show. She even said that she has not watched a full episode. "I don't feel like we have to watch it, and it was just so much drama that I don't want to see it again," she said. She also said that right now, she has never been happier in her life.

The show has not yet commented as to who will replace Miller in "Dance Moms" Season 8 and the fate of the show entirely. But a lot of viewers agree that it would be hard to fill Miller's shoes.
