An Australian couple have decided to raffle their Ecuadoran rainforest hostel for as low as $29 to someone who can run the business the way they do. Additional prizes on top of the hostel include$10,000 start-up money to get started in the South American forest.

Doug and Rebecca Greenshields have put their accommodation business, La Casa Verde, on the market now that their children are growing up. Fox News reported the couple as saying: "We want someone else to have this opportunity, someone who perhaps might not otherwise ever be able to afford to achieve it themselves."

The couple has to sell about 35,000 tickets and a max of 250,000 for them to start rolling the raffle to find the lucky winners. To enter the competition, one must buy Doug's e-book "Back to Earth," online for just $29. If the couple fails to sell the required amount of tickets, they will split the prizes with the winner.

La Casa Verde runs on sustainable tourism and advocates the local community to build and live the "green way." In fact, the eco-guest house was constructed with sustainable material. The Greenshields shared they set up their own water and septic filtration system by themselves.

Other than addressing the sustainable needs of the community, the couple also educates the guests about green living. Moreover, they give interactive and experience tours to visitors who wanted to engage in volunteering in a local kid's library, art foundation or an ecological foundation.

Winners of the raffle contest can also enjoy and further develop activities. La Casa Verde is surrounded by nature and geographic formations ideal for spa and beauty treatments, volcano watching, and day trips to the jungle and indigenous communities among many others.

Deadline of raffle entrees is April 29, when the couple will draw at 5 PM ET on their Facebook Live.
