"South Park: The Fractured But Whole" may not release in Nintendo Switch. The confirmation about this news came from one of the show's spokesman.

"South Park: The Fractured but Whole" was recently the center of speculations. This time, however, the story is not anymore about the delay of its release. The loudest theory right now is about the upcoming game releasing on Nintendo Switch.

This was triggered when "South Park" TV Show's official Twitter account posted a cryptic message on their social media early this week. The post is an animated GIF of Cartman, which appears to be calling out Nintendo informing them that he is coming. He was covered in snow with his head and face visible but he seems unamused.

Most likely, the post is more of a reference to the upcoming blizzard that was expected to hit the northeastern part of the United States in that particular week. This was of course a scene from "South Park's" storyline wayback 2006. The scene depicted Cartman waiting for the Nintendo Wii's release and decided to freeze himself on ice and be thawed when the Wii rolled out almost a month later.

That alone sparked the rumor mill and theorist's interest from speculating that an announcement of "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" releasing on Nintendo Switch is happening soon. Fans were elated with the latest story. However, a representative for the South Park studio via Comedy Central clarified to IGN that the tweet was not in any way referring to Nintendo Switch.

Meanwhile, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" was originally scheduled be released in December 2016. It was, however, delayed to Quarter 1 of 2017 to ensure that fans expectations could be met. The sad news, however, is that Ubisoft revealed that the release window has been moved to sometime between April 2017 and March 2018.
