Alex's loyalty was tested in the "Supergirl" season 2 episode 15 recap. After last week's heartbreaking betrayal by their father, Kara and Alex find themselves at odds as to how to handle it.

Entertainment Weekly recaps the episode, entitled "Exodus." With the National Alien Registry now in their hands, Cadmus begins arresting the aliens, including their families. They were able to capture one of the soldiers from Cadmus and brought him back to the DEO.

Because J'onn cannot use his telepathy on the soldier, Alex takes things to the extreme by starting to torture the guy. She is really taking her father's betrayal hard as seen on how she has resorted to violence, but before she could do anything that will make her regret it in the future, J'onn stops her.

Later that day, Jeremiah shows up at Alex's place, asking her to do steal something from DEO. Because Alex believes that she can still save her father, she agrees. But she finds out that it was actually J'onn, who wanted to test her loyalty. She gets suspended from the DEO as a result.

But she gets an ally in Maggie, who helps her track down Cadmus. She finally finds out from Jeremiah just what Project Exodus is. Lillian wants to gather all the aliens and hurl them back to space, and Jeremiah thought he was doing it for his daughters. Lillian launched the project ahead of time due to Kara's blog exposing the plans.

The Danvers sisters team up to stop the ship, and it's clearly seen that "Supergirl" season 2 lacked a lot of interactions between the two. They were able to stop the ship and Alex was brought back to the DEO. Unfortunately, Kara was fired from CatCo because of her actions.

But the cliffhanger at the end, as reported by TV Line, showing the king and queen of Daxam, confirmed the most popular theory about Mon-el. He is the prince of Daxam, so there is a question as to what will happen to his relationship with Kara.
