The season finale of "Taboo" just aired, and until now, it has not been officially confirmed yet if there is going to be a Season 2. Tom Hardy is working on a lot of projects, and some speculate that may not happen. Until today.

The 39-year-old actor gave fans a teaser about Season 2, saying: "We're on to the next stage. The key really is Colonnade." Hardy also said that his character is very ambiguous with how much information he's going to give, and added that in his mind, he will know when the time is right, Express said.

Also, co-creator Steven Knight teased about how Season 2 would go during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Knight said that they don't talk about that but in his mind, "explosive" stuff is going to happen, "which will be great, should it happen." He added that there is a great destination for it, but he said that they are not currently in the position about the actual details of it.

Reports say that BBC has not come up with a decision yet as to that fate of "Taboo," some sources say that if the show is not renewed, it would be due to "slightly disappointing ratings as well as the future availability of lead cast members." Clearly, Knight wants the story to continue.

During an interview last month, Knight said: "We think it has got a two and a three certainly, that's the plan ... After that who knows?" He also said that his idea for the series and hopes that Seasons 2 and 3 will continue America's story.
