Another trailer for "Beauty and the Beast" has just been released. This time, the focus is not on the main characters, Belle and Beast, but he is just as important as well.

Deseret News reports that the new teaser clip centers on Gaston, played by Luke Evans. Fans of the animated movie will remember him as the hunter who harbors unrequited feelings for Belle, who does not really like him. He is very popular amongst the people of the town, especially the ladies. But his eyes are for the young bookworm Belle, despite the fact that she is considered an outcast, given her nonconformist ideas.

He is the main villain of the animated film, leading the town to believe that Beast was a monster that needed to die. But did you know that he is an original character created for the Disney animated film? There is really no villain in the original fairy tale after all.

Another interesting thing about the new trailer is the character of Le Fou, played by Josh Gad. CBS News reports that what makes the live action Le Fou different from the animated feature is that Gad's character is the first openly-gay character in the remake. He will be different from the 1991 Le Fou, who was a henchman of Gaston and was always bullied by him.

Bill Condon, director of "Beauty and the Beast" says that Le Fou is the type that wants to be Gaston one day or kiss him on another day. He is someone who is confused and does not yet understand the depth of his feelings.

"Beauty and the Beast" is set to be released in the United States and the United Kingdom on March 17. It stars Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in the title role.
