"Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons recently had a traumatic experience. It is not the one that brought out the worst in him. It is an experience that he will laugh at for the rest of his life.

The 43-year-old actor was on his way to the Academy Awards when he discovered that he forgot his ID in his home. It is a requirement for entry at the Dolby Theater where the Oscars 2017 was being held. The worst scenario was when he arrived home, it was locked and he cannot force himself to enter as reported by Comic Book.

So he called out some of his friends for help. It took quite long before help came that he got the chance to document his "ordeal."On his Instagram account, he posted a photo of his two dogs behind a glass door and captioned it, "Why didn't I teach them how to work a lock on a door???"

The next photo he shared was his picture captioned that he was locked out of the house and he has no ID for the Oscars. He wrote that he was waiting for help. Next, he shared a shot of him on his tuxedo just in case he cannot make it in time for the red carpet. Another photo showed him aboard his car on the way to the venue.

But fate was kind to him still that he arrived on time for the show. He got the chance to pose at the back of the iconic Meryll Streep.

"The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons represented with his "Hidden Figures" team as their film was nominated for Best Picture. He shared the film with three remarkable women behind the historical space travels of American astronauts. The real life NASA heroine Katherine Johnson whose story is one of the featured stories in "Hidden Figures," was honored as per ABC news. The winning Best Picture was the movie about the LGBT "Moonlight."
