The Guardians are finally locked and loaded with the release of the last and final trailer for the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" movie. Action-packed trailer with right amount of humor debuted in the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last Tuesday night which provided the enthusiasts what to watch out for in the upcoming movie. The trailer also featured some plot twists in the story as well as the foes that will stand in the way of this group of oddballs-turned heroes.

Aside from the iconic action-comedy scenes of the series, the music is what captivates the fans of the film. The trailer showcased the 1970 soundtrack featuring Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" and many other hits. Disney and Marvel also released a new poster showing the gang with the fabulous Peter Quill in a hilarious back-arching pose and Baby Groot standing on his shoulders.

According to The Verge, the entire original cast will be back with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel reprising their roles in the new movie. Additional members are also introduced in the trailer starting with the return Yondu played by Michael Rooker, Thanos' adoptive daughter Nebula portrayed by Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff as Mantis. The first movie director, James Gunn will be returning to helm the film.

Aside from the humongous guns and spaceships soaring through the outer space, the trailer also showed the villainous golden alien species under the leadership of Ayesha played by Elizabeth Debicki. This creature sits atop a throne claiming that they will going to cleanse the universe of weaknesses like fear, betrayal and jealousy as reported by Vox. However the best part of the series is the introduction of Kurt Russel as a bearded man who claimed to be Peter's long lost dad.

We will soon see "Guardian of the Galaxy" timeline get in line with the grand scheme of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hopefully we will see in the upcoming films how the Guardians will met Avengers for the "Infinity Wars". "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" is slated to hit the theatres on May 5, 2017.
