One of the most popular tropical destinations is the island of Hawaii, where a world of friendly locals, unforgettable beach holidays and delicious food always go together. Tons of resorts, beach clubs, and water parks populate the area, as well as a plethora of activities you and your family will enjoy.
But there's an exclusive place in Hawaii only those with thousands of spare cash could afford. It's called Kohanaiki, a luxury beach club whose members mostly compose of top athletes, high-ranking company executives, and famous people.
Located five miles north of Kailua-Kona and two miles south of the Kona International Airport, Kohanaiki is more of a world-class beach subdivision than a club. To get in, members have to pay a one-time entrance of $150,000 and an annual membership fee of $25,000.
With the hefty price tag, what kind of services could you get at this overly-swanky beach club? According to their website, "attention to detail is important. Perhaps the most important aspect to 21st century luxury. At Kohanaiki, we pay close attention to even the smallest of details."
"Perhaps most important of all, we believe in uncompromising service that is attentive, but not intrusive. Our service philosophy focuses on knowing our member's every preference and anticipating their every whim, while reflecting our genuine personalities and a gracious aloha spirit," it adds.
These "details" include your own private home designed to the highest level of comfort and style you could probably get, a golf course, a $65 million clubhouse, a wine cellar, a top-notch spa created by Tracy Lee, a sophisticated rec room, a 21-seat movie theater, a cigar, and poker lounge, world-class restaurants, and so on.
Members could also enjoy the services of Kohanaiki's'A-Team, a group of staff that will take you to your water/beach activity of choice. The list includes snorkeling, scuba-diving, surfing, and hiking.
For your private residence, you could either choose an existing design of the club, or build your own from scratch, as long as it stands by the guidelines Kohanaiki. The perfect spot for a getaway with everything in you need in one place; a perfect luxury destination for the rich and the famous!
