Due to her pregnancy, Beyonce pulls out of this year's Coachella where she was supposed to perform on stage. However, the iconic diva promises to make up for her absence by headlining in the annual music festival next year.

The singer decided to take a break from show business and keep her workload to a minimum while carrying Jay-Z's, twins. In the announcement posted on Coachella's official Facebook page, Beyonce had to skip this year's California event to slow down and get ready for the birth of her kids.

"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival", the press statement read. "However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival."

The social media post was flocked with reactions from fans who all had varying opinions on the matter. Some are more accepting of the unfortunate development and send "Queen Bey" their well-wishes. On the other hand, there are those who are quite devastated with the news pointing out that the only reason they are coming to Coachella this year is to see Beyonce.

Meanwhile, some are suggesting new acts to supposedly take over the slot of "Drunk In Love" singer. There were some performers that are being pitched by some commenters on the post. Beyonce was supposed to co-headline the event together with band Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar and the latter two are still attached to week-long festivities. The list of possible new performers includes popular French duo Daft Punk, rock band Metallica and Rihana. But the event organizers continue to be mum about the situation.

Beyonce's last public outing was just a couple of weeks back during the 59th Grammy Awards where she performed her songs "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles." The 35-year-old diva also took home this year's "Best Urban Contemporary Album" accolade for her work in last year's smash album, "Lemonade."

This year's Coachella will run from April 14 to 16. It will then continue the following week starting 21st of April till 23rd.
