Fans of USA's "Suits" felt sad when Gina Torres (who played as the fierce and striking lawyer Jessica Pearson) announced that she will leave the show. But that does not mean her character can't have her own show.

USA is still thinking of giving the "Suits" fan-favorite character a spin-off show that would center around her, TV Line has revealed in an article. The creator Aaron Korsch said that Torres would always be welcome to go back to the show.

Dark Horizons quoted him, saying that Torres is part of the "Suits" family and the 47-year-old actress could come back anytime she wants. Korsch also said that Torres is one of the rarest actress he ever worked with. He said that she is a combination of talent and class that he is willing to go to war with her any day of the week.

There were no further details that was given about the potential "Suits" spin-off. Torres has also yet to confirm if she would be willing to reprise her iconic TV role.

TV.com said that Torres' character in "Suits" have her last appearance in the show's 86th episode (season 6 episode 10) titled "PSL." In the episode, she went back to Chicago to start over with her ex.

Torres announced that she is leaving the show last September 2016 due to logistical concerns. Currently, she is a recurring cast member in Shonda Rhimes' show "The Catch" and HBO's "Westworld."

Besides "Suits," Torres has a pretty resume in both TV and movies. She used to be part of classic shows "Firefly," "Alias," and "Hannibal" with real-life husband Laurence Fishburne. If this spin-off would be picked up, it is going to be her first show that she is going to play as the main protagonist. Her previous movie experience was being part of the Matrix sequels as Cas and being cast as the opposite of comedian Chris Rock in "I Think I Love My Wife."
