"Street Fighter V" wasn't exactly the most successful entry in the series by a long shot, but it is obviously the best-looking game in the franchise despite performing a bit underwhelming with its sloppy sales. Nevertheless, it still upholds its solid 2D-oriented gameplay, but one particular mod makes the experience, more or less, enjoyable by making transitions between character selection crazy fast.

A recent mod was released by Reddit user, TOOLASSISTED and interestingly enough, it does a very simple and neat trick of making "Street Fighter V" load matches faster and faster, just fast enough to virtually remove any idle transition between character selection and the actual match. In the game's initial release, several players have already deemed the loading times to be a bit bothersome despite using powerful machines and this was just one of several complaints, which are fortunately being officially patched continuously.

Some might not find the mod to be all that impressive, especially those who already got used with what appears to be, excessive loading times between character selection and matches in "Street Fighter V," but a video comparison shows how the mod performs well. This trick, as revealed by the modder, was to simply unlock the 60 FPS between these idle transitions in order to reach up to 255. This reveals that nothing is actually "loading" at that particular point, which is now a driven curiosity given that it could be tweaked so easily.

However, be aware that this is not an official feature for "Street Fighter V" and should be used with extreme care, otherwise, it may mess up the game files. A step by step guide to installing mods can be seen here for those that will be doing it for the first time.
