During high school days, you're probably members of some school clubs at some point. Drama Club, Cheerleading Club, Varsity Club-these are some of the little niches you probably have gotten yourself into to gain new friends, learn new skills or simply just wanted to belong in a group.

Now that we're adults and working millennials, it's kind of hard to find social groups and local clubs we want to be a part of. Instead, dating apps and websites have dominated the internet, so if you're not a single girl or boy looking for love or a casual date, then there's nothing you can do.

That's what inspired the "Grown Up Club" to exist. It's an activity group based in Minneapolis that caters to adults seeking some interactive activity sessions with people that have similar interests. And according to their website, "Think of it like an after-school club, except with less acne and unwanted body hair."

The whole concept started in 2013, by founders Taylor Baldry and Victoria Nohl. Every month, they hold fun and somewhat ridiculous events for adults seeking some excitement and enjoyment in their lives. Past events included Pizza Camp, an overnight summer camp for pizza lovers everywhere; capture the flag at the Walker Sculpture Garden; and a Sexy Underwear Exchange.

"Anyone who's interested in meeting new people while breaking out of their comfort zone is welcomed and encouraged to participate. You'll probably even blush and froth at the mouth a little-which is okay! Grown-Up Club is designed to help both the socially gifted and the socially inept connect with each other over absurd shared experiences," their website reads.

For this month's event, the club will host "The Singles Exchange" on February 28th, a matchmaking event where friends of singles looking for love will help them find their perfect match by representing them, building them up-and if you're up for it, you can even make a PowerPoint presentation of how awesome your friend is!
