One of the popular stars of "Game of Thrones", Natalie Domer, is set to star with a Foxtel's six part drama entitled, "Picnic at Hanging Rock". She will be among those who will be in headline of the cast of this Australian paynet original drama period which will start its production next month at the state of Victoria.

She will set to portray as the English headmistress known as Hester Appleyard, together with other ladies like Yael Stone as Miss Dora Lumley, and Lola Bessis which will play the role Mademoiselle Dianne de Poitiers, and these girls are set to portray mistresses of the French conversation, music, and dance at the Appleyard College for the Young Ladies, as per Hollywood Reporter.

This will be a limited series which was solely based from Joan Lindsay's iconic Australian novel which centers on the mystery of three school girls who disappeared together with a teacher at the Hanging Rock in rural Victoria on the 1900 Valentine's Day. It will be produced by FremantleMedia Australia and will have the original scripts from Bea Christian and Alice Addison.

Further, there are also other casts who will be joining them like Anna McGahan and Sybilla Budd and some of the students will be portrayed by Lily Sullivan, Madeleine Madden, Samara Weaving, Ruby Rees and Inez Curro as well.

Moreover, aside from the productions of FremantleMedia, Screen Australia and Film Victoria also made their contributions in the investment for its production. According to the head of Foxtel, Penny Win, their new chosen casts will be giving new forms of the iconic novel of Joan Lindsay. Even though the story remained a history from 1900, the production team will be bringing a 21st century kind of storytelling with this upcoming movie, Variety reported.

The film will be directed by Jo Porter, who has been known as a director of drama who further assures that he will redefine the novel's real character into this upcoming drama.
