Last February 11, fans were treated to an all-night marathon screening event of the popular sports anime series "Yuri on Ice". The marathon lasted for six hours and those who attended the event were given a glimpse of "Yuri on Ice" Season 2.

The event was announced on the anime's official website and was held in commemoration of the series' success. It started at 10 in the evening and ended on 4am the next day. Fans in attendance were also able to see a new visual art during the said event. In the visual art, the 12 skaters that we encountered during season one can be seen striking casual poses. This could be a hint that the 12 characters from the previous season will all be returning for "Yuri on Ice" season 2.

The visual shows Phichit Chunaont holding a selfie stick and taking a group shot while the other skaters pose. Most of the skaters in the photo can be seen making a "peace" sign with their fingers, which could be yet another clue to hint that the second season is coming soon.

The event took place in the TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills and was simultaneously live streamed across 47 cinemas all over Japan. Fans who attended the screening were given some freebies in the form of a paper fan and 14 stickers. The 14 stickers represent the 14 skaters present in the event. Tickets to the event were priced at 3000 Yen each, according to Crunchy Roll News.

The anime's co-creator, Mitsuruo Kubo, graced the "Mada mada Kaso Shichau yo! Yuri!!! On Ice Talk Show and All Night Joekai", which means "We're Still Gonna Keep on Grinding! Yuri!!! On Ice Talk Show and Screening" when translated in English. Others who were also present were the voice actors of Yuri Katsuhi (Yoshi Toyonaga), Viktor (Junichi Suwabe), and Yuri Plistesky (Kouki Uchiyama).
